 Who uses our services?

 
 

We work with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues and any related behaviours and who need assistance with independent living and finding their place in the community. They are referred to us from a number of sources, including:

  • Local Authorities

  • Local Health Authorities

  • Social Workers

  • Community Mental Health Teams

  • Community Learning Disability Teams

  • The individual (or an appropriate adult acting on their behalf) using direct payment or individual budget or is self-financing.

By taking the time to get to know each individual, we tailor our services to their unique requirements, working at a pace that suits all those involved.

Everyone we work with receives the same level of support from Proactive Life. Typically, this involves:

 
 
 

How you can refer to us

We welcome referrals from local authorities and local health authorities, social workers, Community Mental Health Teams, Community Learning Disability Teams or individuals or their family members.
